The name “Pamina Mare” has a special history. "Pamina" comes from the Greek "Pammenis," which
means "full moon night." The name became famous through Mozart's renowned opera “The Magic Flute”,
in which Pamina is the daughter of the Queen of the Night.
We added the name "Mare" to emphasize the close connection to our unique location – right by the sea. Thus, Pamina Mare represents the magic of a full moon night unfolding at the shores of the Aegean – a magical place where you can experience the warmth of a home away from home and always feel welcome.
